Choppers Sound Like Rock 'n Roll

Having bought SafetySuit’s album earlier today and having them as the featured artist on Itunes has made me so incredibly happy and proud to say that I’m a fan!

They’re currently the #2 album on Itunes (Queen Adele is still #1) but I can’t believe I waited pretty much 3 years for this new record and it’s finally here! I’ve been stalking the SafetySuit app all day and reading the band’s tweets on Twitter and I just feel so happy to be a part of their journey to greatness. 

If you have no idea who I’m talking about, do yourself a favor and log onto Itunes. They’re the featured band of the week and their single “These Times” is FREE to download. Then I suggest you go back and listen to the music off their first record because the way in which these guys have progressed is very impressive! 

I’m pretty sure I’ll be posting lots of lyrics to some of my favorite songs off the new album soon. But right now I have to stop pretending like I don’t have to be up in a few hours for work.

One of my best friends saw these guys perform while on tour with 3 Doors Down and she played me their album Life Left to Go so that I could experience what she alredy knew and loved.

Little did I know that it would be love at first listen for me as well! I honestly play this album on the regular due to my long commute to campus each week. And it doesn’t matter whether its rainy or sunny, playing this album to keep me company makes a difference to my state of mind.

Now to continue waiting for the *NSYNC reunion…

Amazon.com has the MP3 album on sale for 3.99. I download it shortly after midnight. I’ve definitely listened to the album 4 times now. (Thanks to my long-ass commute to college).

Oh and if Kanye is not your style, Amazon also has Robyn, My Chemical Romance (got their album too!), Dane Cook, and Neyo on sale as well. Apparently this is their ploy to get me to spend my hard-earned pennies with them during this important shopping week! (So far it’s working) NGL.
